I have a list of jira's as jira numbers 1, 2, 3, .. 100.

I want to make all of them as "a child" of a Jira Epic,

Is there any way to do it in a single go / operation?

Hi @J S S S Bharath

Yes, find all the issue and bulk change all the related issues.

Hello @J S S S Bharath

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Yes, you can achieve this using the Bulk change > Edit operation.

Here's are the steps to Bulk edit:

Go to View all work items

  1. Run the JQL to fetch all the child work item

  2. Select all the issues
  3. Click on the 3 dots > Bulk change work items
  4. Choose the Edit issues operation
  5. In the bulk edit screen, checkmark Change Epic Link

  6. In the field, search and select your Epic

  7. Confirm

I hope this helps!

Thank you

For additional information: Epic Link works for Data Center, but on Cloud it moved to the Parent field using the same mechanics as the Epic Link field.
