How to lookup all Bugs that link to a Task as a blocker and are Done

Kathryn Swearingen

I'm trying to write an Automation rule that will add a comment in a Task once all of the Bugs that link as blocking the Task with a specific label are Done. If there are Bugs with that specific label still open, then nothing, but once all of the Bugs are closed then add the comment.

How do I write the logic to find all Bugs linked as blocking and determine if they're either open or Done?

I can probably also re-use this logic for another Automation rule that would find all Tasks linked to a User Story as blocking the User Story and transition the User Story to Done when all of the linked blocking Tasks are Done, but if there are other Tasks that link to the User Story as a different type of linking relationship, for example: relates to, then don't close the User Story if those "related to" Tasks are closed.  (note: we use Tasks, not sub-tasks).

I need help with any JQL and/or Lookup Issues syntax.
