How to log errors both into results & atlassian-jira.log

Need to capture errors into results & log when a script is run, so that we could process further at our end.

Running JQL in Issue Navigator, shows errors as below

Maybe something missing in below script, currently it doesn't seem to log the errors

Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks
