How to link JIRA with a server-based Confluence?

Pierre Rochefort February 1, 2022

Good afternoon,

I have users of JIRA (Cloud based) that tell me they are unable to link issues with Confluence pages (Our confluence is hosted on our own server, it's not cloud based if that makes a difference). Originally, they could not tag users in JIRA and someone on this community helped me fix that but the issue with linking JIRA and Confluence remains. (The permissions were set wrong on my JIRA to access my Confluence users)

I am an admin on both sides so that's probably something that I am missing but I can't seem to find what it is.

Is there a setting that will help me accomplish this? I have a meeting schedule with the users that reported the issues and I will know more later but if someone has pointers, feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance.

Pierre

Hi @Pierre Rochefort ,

Please refer the below link:

Hope this will help.

Ankit,

I checked and it looks like the link between the two is already there but my users are still complaining. I will read the documents attached in that page and see if that helps.

Can you think of something else that I may need to do?

Thank you

Pierre.
