To invite someone as an organization admin and grant them org admin privileges in Jira, you can follow these steps:
Invite the user to the organization:
- Go to admin.atlassian.com and select your organization (if you have more than one).
- Navigate to Directory > Users.
- Select "Invite users".
- Enter the email address of the user.
- Click "Invite user(s)".
Once the user is added, you can make them an org admin:
- Again, navigate to Directory > Users.
- Find the user and select their avatar or "Show details".
- Click on the three-dot icon at the top of the page and select Assign org admin role.
- Select Assign role to confirm.
