Every time I try to activate Jira Cloud to enable live notifications of Jira ticket updates, I get an error message of "Something went wrong. Please try again." I believe it could maybe be a permissions issue? But when I try to read & accept the permissions, I just go round in a loop!!
Hi all, can confirm this is now resolved. I found the answer here:

Hi Emily,
Can you confirm that the app on the Jira side of things is setup. These appear to just be screenshots from Teams. However, there has to be a connection between Jira and Teams, typically through an app. So if you can confirm if there is an app or integration installed on Jira and that it is setup.

See below my reply to Perisic Nikola, also to add to this, another screenshot of what I can see, when I press "Sign in" it signs me in, but then when I press the button "Start getting Jira notifications" it says the error "Something went wrong" as shown below.

Hi everyone, thank you for your help! I have resolved this issue now - it took a while to work properly but I managed to get it signed-in. I had to update Teams.

Hello @Emily ,
Can you send the link of the app that you have installed, since there a lot of apps related to Teams?
BR,
Nikola

I can't find a link to send you, I believe it's a browser disguised as an app, (a feature that Microsoft Edge has, where you can install almost any browser as an app), I then received notifications to say I could like Jira to Teams using 'Jira Cloud' so I could get real-time notifications on Teams about updates on tickets. Then when I try to follow the instructions, I just receive error messages and no real-time notifications. The "app" that it's mentioning in my screenshot, is 'Jira Cloud'

I see,
Have you checked your browser console for some errors? Like the 400 or 500 statuses if they are appearing.
