How to implement Jira issues in importet Trello Board

Dear Community,

I have used Trello so far and want now to switch zu Jira + Miro to create Sprints and Roadmaps. I've created a Jira account and synched it with my Trello board. My Trello board is now importet and shows up as a project in Jira. But , here is the problem: There is NO Backlog function in that project. Is it the case, that I can't create new issues or sprints in a synched / importet project?

Please help, if someone knows about this issue! Thanks a lot in advance

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When importing Trello to Jira, the project that is created is a Next-gen Software (in case the site doesn’t have Jira Software, it created a Jira Core).

Since your site has Jira Software and the project that is created is a next-gen one, the features such as the backlog must be enabled.

Please, go to the Project settings > Features.

On this page, you can enable the Backlog, Sprints, and some other features.
