When using the Simplified Agility Workflow's Roadmap feature, I'm able to create new epics or import Epics from other projects, but I'm unable to move existing tickets into those epics - I can only add new tickets to that epic. Is it possible to move existing cards into the Epics on the Simplified Agility Workflow instead of having to recreate all of the existing tickets?
For the Agility boards, you can change an existing ticket's Epic by clicking on the "options" button that appears when you hover over the right side of the ticket row. In the drop-down that appears, there should be an option for "Add Epic or "Change Epic".

Hi Joe,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Are you trying to move existing issues into the Epic via the Board? If so, go to Board configuration and verify that the query you are using includes
ORDER BY Rank ASC
Adding the Rank to the query allows you to drag and drop issues into Epics, see Enabling ranking for more information.

Thanks Mikael! My mistake, I meant to say "Simplified Agility Workflow". This new board doesn't seem to have the same configuration features as a normal board :(

Okay, Agility projects does not currently allow you to add existing issues to an epic, it is using a different way of linking epics to stories then what the classic Scrum and Kanban projects do.

Thanks again Mikael!
I actually stumbled upon it while trying to change the ticket type. Didn't figure out how to change the type, but I did find an option to "Add Epic" or "Change Epic" if it already had one.
