Hi @Jadhav_ Nityanand and welcome to the Community!

Much depends on what you mean by unwanted items ...

If you refer to work items, the needed permissions are pretty straightforward:

If you are not a Jira administrator in your team, reach out to that person to request those permissions.

Note that in many organisations, deleting items is generally (and with good reason) disabled, since deleted items cannot be restored. As a common workaround, teams often add a cancelled / rejected status to their work items which can be used as a soft delete function: you indicate that no work is needed, but you don't lose your work items.

If your question is about deleting other things from Jira (configuration, spaces, apps, ...), please provide a bit more details.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Jadhav_ Nityanand and welcome to Community!

It's not clear if you are on Cloud or Data Center, but if you are on Cloud and in a Team managed project, you can ask the space owner to give you administration permissions for the project. That will allow you to delete work items in that specific space.

Hello @Jadhav_ Nityanand ,

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

Inorder to delete workitems, you would need "Delete issue" permission on the projects/spaces where the workitems belong to.
