What is the issue hierarchy in your Jira instance? The default hierarchy is
Epic
-- Story, Task, Bug
------ Sub-tasks
Are you using Jira Premium and Advanced Roadmaps where you have added a level for Feature?
What do you mean by the Features and been "split to" stories? Is "split to" a custom Issue Link that you defined?
Can you perhaps share some screen images that show the relationship between these items? Maybe an image of a Feature issue that includes showing the "split to" stories associated with it?
