Hello, my team is using smart commits to see commit history in the information of a ticket in Jira. We would like for reporters to receive email notifications from assignees after they push their commits from their local to the remote repo. I see this feature is available for Bitbucket users, but I can't seem to find anything for Github for Jira. Any ideas on how to implement this?

Hi @Andrew Rover -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Have you looked at the automation rules to do this?  You can catch triggers for commits and then send notifications.

Please look here for starting information on the automation rules:

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/automate-your-jira-cloud-processes-and-workflows/

And here is some info on the development fields (smart values) that are available:

Best regards,

Bill
