We are just learning how to use Roadmaps and I would like to use one for strategic marketing planning, setting up a single Corporate Marketing Project with multiple epics with start and end dates. We would like to have the epic name or discription in the color bar of the road map for easy identification of the epic and its duration. But we can't figure out how to get the epic names in the bars. I've seen them in videos, and wonder if this feature is only available in Advanced Roadmaps.
Can you provide a link to a video where you see that? I have not seen that capability in the Basic Roadmaps feature that is available with the Standard subscription.

Look at about :24 and you'll see the standard view up top and a view at the bottom that has all the epic labels included.

Thanks for that link. For the benefit of others, I'm pasting the image from that video.
I see the image you're referencing. I don't see that image included in the video in any of the demo that shows the actual software being used. I don't think that is a feature of the Basic Roadmaps functionality.
I'm not sure if that view is part of the Advanced Roadmaps functionality. It looks to me like it might be a view that shows a level above Epics in the left column, with the Epics shown as bars to the right. The ability to add a level above Epics is available only in the Advanced Roadmaps feature available in the Premium and Enterprise product plans.

Thanks Trudy. That's very helpful and pretty much what I guessed. If anyone else has any additional insights on this, I'd be interested in learning more.
