I am testing a migration from Cloud to Server for JIRA/Confluence. Currently on our Cloud instances, if a JIRA ticket is entered on a Confluence page, it gets rendered as a shortcut to the JIRA ticket.

The same behavior is not occurring on the Server instances, even though I believe I have all application and space integration properly configured.

Hey Stephen,

Just looking to understand more what you're mentioning here. Is it one of the following?

  • Creating issues while viewing a page
    image.png
  • Using the Jira macro when in the editor

  • Something else?

Thanks,
Daniel

It is actually yet another option. I believe it is related to space-level integration. We have a Confluence space "Mountain" and a Jira project "Mountain" with key of "MT". The Confluence space has the Jira project-level ntegration defined. So, if I type a Mountain Jira issue ID on a page in the Confluence Mountain space, it gets displayed as a hyperlink to the actual issue. If I look at the storage format for the page, there is no markup, it just magically happens. This works on the Cloud-to-Cloud, but with the identical settings (and with the integrations you mentioned working as expected) on our Server-to-Server instances, this doesn't work.

Thanks,

Steve
