How to fetch Fix Version Start Date and Release Date in a Issue

Hi,

I am trying to populate Start Date and Release Date of a Fix Version into two custom fields.

While creating a New Issue or Updating a Issue after selecting the fix version i want to auto populate Start Date and Release Date of the Fix version into Custom fields.

Can some one please suggest me how i can acheve this.

You will have to write a calculate field or a scripted field using plugin like scriptrunner to do this.

Hi Jobin, Extremely sorry for the delay in response. Thanks for the advice!!! Will the logic in script runner fires in all scenarios unlike the Field Configurations description. And can you please help us by providing any sample code how to identify the change of value in Fix Version. Thanks in advance !!! Vinay
