How to extract the date and time when an assignee change?

John Chen

Hi,

Is there a way to extract when an issue was transitioned from an assignee to a new assignee?  Currently, I can only see the change from one assignee to another in the History tab of the issue.  There's no field that would allow me to query for that change date/time.

Please help!

Hi @John Chen

Have you found a solution for this?

You can use automation for Jira and store the current time in a custom field whenever the assignee is changed. Of course you will see only the latest change but maybe that is enough for you. So you can then query all task that are currently assigned to a specific user for more then let’s say a week.

Thanks Florian.  I actually need to see all the changes.  For example, if a JIRA changed from a PO to a Developer, then to another Developer, and finally to QA, I need to see when all those changes were made.
