Dear collegues from Atlassian Community!
I want to export Request types from [Jira_Service_Desk instance1] to [Jira_Service_Desk instance2] !
I couldn't find any way to do it!!
Can Someone give a help ?
Best Regards Maikes
You could use the API to get the request types from one instance and create the request types in the other. https://docs.atlassian.com/jira-servicedesk/REST/3.6.2/
I think you can use this app to move them as well. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211147/project-configurator-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview&_ga=2.113611591.1934939406.1574653378-210123836.1570633899
Thank you @Brant Schroeder !

Hi @Maikes ,
To export request types configuration and import in another service desk project, you can use our app Feature Bundle for Jira Service Desk. The configuration is saved as a .json file.
Cheers,

Hello @Kate Pawlak _Appsvio_ ,
Is there any rest APIs provided by this app for us to export and import request types?

Hi Sophie,
We would like to use the possibility to export a request type as .json, but struggle to understand how to use your app.
Do you have any documentation describing what to do there?
@Yaoqi Huang how did you download it without using API?
Best wishes,
Mika
