How to expand assignees/avatar filter on a board (backlog/agile)

Hello

Is there a way (e.g. chrome add-on) to make all avatars appear at once, without the dropdown? Now only first 6 are visible and the rest is 'hidden' in the dropdown list.

(except creating manually a quick filter for each)

Would be more convenient, especially while switching between names in the dropdown list

Could more avatars be shown? (all of them, or there is room for 16)
Or could the avatars be picked by most used rather than alphabetical?

Can you help on how to include  or enable the Avatar filters?..it doesn't show up in my Jira board..

Hi Alex,

there is a long history on these avatars. They used to not exist at all and we were limited to creating quick filters per user (yuck). Later they were in fact presented as a drop down. Finally we have landed on the current implementation which show several followed by the "+" expansion option. OOTB there isn't a way to show this expanded. At least AFAIK...but things change quickly on Cloud at times. :-)
