How to exclude some particular custom fields while cloning the ticket

I want to exclude some particular custom fields while cloning ticket is it possible to achieve this??

Hi Seetham,

The Deep Clone add-on might be able to help you with that. But not out of the box Jira. 

You could do a Clone and then setup an Automation Rule to clear fields when an issue is created if you like.

For jira cloud no. There are some programmatic options, but for a straight clone, no. Sorry.

Same for Server/DC - the built-in clone function is intended to, well, clone an issue.  Clones are supposed to be as close to identical to their source as possible.  That's what "clone" means.
