How to enable time tracking on daily base?

Any description of the Jira provided time tracking shows additional fields. Mostly I miss the field start date to be able to enter work times for different days in the past. 

What is to be done to show additional fields?

Welcome to the community.

After I enter a Time Spent value, then the field for Date Started appears. Is that not the case for you?

Oh, my bad. I don't use time tracking for myself, but for my development team and was wondering that they entered work for more days in one block. When I saw the initial screen I thought that would be the reason.
