In my organisation, teams often need to move work items from one Jira software project to another. There are some shared statuses in workflows, and there are some that are unique to the particular ways of working in a given business unit. When you want to move a work item to a project and the current status is not present in the receiving project's workflows, the default status on the receiving side is Done. I have tried OpsBar-sequence but it does not affect the order.
Any ideas on how to edit the order?
Hello, Good day. If possible you can re-order the status within the workflow as shown in : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/re-order-workflow-statuses-on-the-issue-view/.
While moving the issue status is listed based on the workflow configuration, I am unable to find any other option to change the status order while moving the issue alone.
As you can see in the screenshot, I have already ordered using Opsbar-sequence. It does not translate to this screen. @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_

Hello @David McCarthy
By default in the view of issue -> status are based on the Category - TO DO, IN PROGRESS and DONE but alphabetical to category in respect.
But you can add status properties in workflow by adding 'opsbar-sequence' and numeric value >0. Ref. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/re-order-workflow-statuses-on-the-issue-view/
