How to edit field value in issue while on Kanban view ?

Hello !

I'm using a Kanban board, I have my issues listed in the different columns as expected, and I can add the fields I want with the Card layout parameters.

My questions is : how can I edit values of these without opening the sidebar or the popup ? Would it be possible to change the fields directly in the cards instead of having the popup/sidebar ?

I'm afraid that this is not possible without opening ticket in sidebar. Fields on card layout are read only.

I have the free Jira version and I can change the assignee and status of the issue, but not the issue type or priority directly on the card.
