How to edit 'Team' Custom Field

I'm trying to create and manage teams in Jira. I've added the Team custom field to the necessary screens, but I can't figure out how to update the field and add my teams to it. I'm seeing this message: "This configuration item is locked by Jira or one of its plugins. You are not allowed to alter its configuration."

Anyone else know how this work -- how do I get a Portfolio Plan?

Hi @AlexandraK ,

Even I don't know what is the use of it. I see one suggestion ticket to make it available for jira tickets.

You can manage teams from main Menu  --> People --> start a team.

Hi Rilwan -- I was told that creating a team under the People tab will not allow me to assign a JIRA ticket to that team, but I tried it anyway and it does it work. I created 3 teams under the people tab then clicked CREATE to create a new issue, went to the Teams field to see if the new teams would appear and they don't.
