How to display status of tickets in the Backlog?

Hi everyone!

Please help me to turn on the field "Status" of the tickets in the Backlog.

BUT (!!!) not through "Board Settings - Card Layout - Add Status", because in this case status is displayed under the name of the ticket on a white background and is absolutely not readable.

I need the status to be displayed to the right of the title of the epic, as in the attached picture. Thanks in advance!example.png

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

With Card layout in the board settings, you can add a field to the Backlog items as well, not only to the board cards.

The status under the ticket is on the board, the status on the right is in the backlog. There is no other way.

here's what happens when I do it through Board Settings - Card Layout
It's not readable and totally useless
I need to see it on the right side as I applied on the screen in my original message

Hi @Anna Voiniush ,

as Dave already mentioned, these are two completely different layouts. 
There is literally no option to have a board card look like a backlog entry. Sorry.

I don't understand you.
Here are 2 screens from 2 company-managed projects.

Could you explain, why on the first screen the field Status is under the name of the ticket and on the second one - on the right side.

This happens because you are using different types of board, with different layouts.  (Backlogs are not project artefacts, they are part of a board).  Check what type of board you are using for each one and what the project type is.
