How to display component description

Hi,

We have created a list of components that we use to order tickets.

We have added component description but cant find a way to show this description anywhere.

Does anyone know how to display description maybe when selecting a component for ticket?

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The components' descriptions can be viewed only on the components' page. Currently, it's not possible to view it on the form when creating or viewing a ticket, for example. 

There is a feature request suggesting improvements for that:

• Display the description of Components on mouse-over.
