How to disable the jira cloud app in outlook

How can i disable the Jira cloud app in Outlook. I would like to have the hyperlink straight to the issue as it was previously. The outlook Jira cloud window is just another step for me to get to the issue. I would like to disable this feature.

Welcome to the Community.

If you want to uninstall the add-in completely, you can open Add-ins Store, switch to My add-ins and uninstall Jira Cloud for Outlook add-in from there.

But I'd like to learn more about the problem. Does it highlight the issue link, and does it open a window when you click on it? Could you please share a screenshot of the highlighted text?

Hi Vitalii, 

Yes it sometimes opens a window after a few clicks ( guessing this a work in progress bug) 

When the window opens i get a preview of the issue and then have to click another link to take me to the issue.

Therefore i am now going through another step that takes 30 seconds to open a new window then another 20 seconds to open the actual issue. 

It has just increased the time it takes me to get to the issue. Therefore i would like to disable it as it has only been frustrating and time consuming for me. 

I do not see the option to disable it. Please help me remove it.

@mhobbs Unfortunately, you can't disable this specific feature. The only way to disable it is to uninstall the add-in completely. But 30 seconds is a lot. It might be an Outlook bug. Could you please share a screen recording? You can send us feedback from the add-in's Menu with a link to this community post, and after you get an email confirming your feedback, you can reply with the link to the screen recording.

Yes, i would like to completely uninstall the app, i have no need for it, it is not helpful. Even if it is 10 seconds each action. I would like to have it e-mails directly link to the issue not a preview window. 

Please completely disable unisntall the app. thanks
