How to disable dialog "Whats new in Jira 5.2"

Marc
December 26, 2012

Hello community,

I has upgrade our jira installation. Now 100 employes see the "Whats new in Jira"-dialog. Some employes doesn't speak english, so I want disable this dialog.

I know that a user can set the checkbox, so the message will not commin again.

Is it possible to set the checkbox by default or by a database-script?

Best regards

Hi,

You can disable this for all users by disabling the system plugin. You can see how to disable this in the latest versions of JIRA in the following knowledge base article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/4QKpE

Cheers,
