How to delete status (new column) in JIRA Next Gen without board access

Hi Team,

I have added new column after "Done" column by mistake and not able to view the board and backlog.

Find the below error

"Your board has more than our supported limit of 5000 issues. Please delete or move some issues on the search page"

Now, how can i delete new column?

So are you unable to see the columns? If you can then if you hover over the name of the column you should see the ellipses where you can delete the column.

Hi @Shane Witschen , yes I did but thanks for resurfacing this. A very recent post on this same issue (?) might help others that land here much more than my earlier target miss.
