Hey @Siva Kedari Veerla 👋
Good question! At the moment, Jira Cloud doesn’t give us a way to delete automation rules in bulk, either through the UI or the API. You can only remove them one by one in the interface.
The public Automation Rule Management API is helpful for listing rules, creating new ones, updating, and even enabling or disabling them, but it doesn’t include a delete option yet. If you’re on Jira Data Center and using the old JSM automation engine, there is a delete endpoint for those legacy rules, but that doesn’t apply to Jira Cloud.
If you want to clean things up faster, the best workaround is to disable rules in bulk using the API and then delete them manually in the UI. Some admins also use marketplace tools like Salto for mass management. And if this is something you really need, you can vote for the feature request that covers adding delete functionality to the API—it’s called AUTO-51.

Hope this helps! 😊
To delete unused automation rules in bulk, head to your platform’s automation page and look for a “group actions,” “batch delete,” or multi-select feature. Select the rules you want gone, choose delete, and confirm—done in a snap! If your tool doesn’t support bulk actions, reaching out for feature requests or using their support forums might unlock a workaround. @Siva Kedari Veerla

Hi @Taliah15
Please provide both the documentation link and screen image showing where you were able to "batch delete" automation rules in the Jira UX. I do not believe those features exist.
And as a reminder, when posting bot-generated content which you did not create, the community guidelines require disclosing that source and verifying the content before posting. Please carefully review the guidelines to learn more:

Hey @Bill Sheboy
Thanks for informing about the community guidelines. It is not BOT generated content actually I have asked my friend about it and he told me this. May be he has some misunderstanding regarding this. For next time, I will be more careful.
Kind Regards,
Taliah
