How to delete a bunch of tickets at once?

Long store short, a dev made a change that interfered with a process we had running that creates jira tickets automatically. Is there a quick way to delete about 900 tickets?

Sure. Create a search that returns ONLY those issue you wish to delete. Select Bulk edit from ellipses in top right and then walk they the pages until you see Delete issues option. Be sure to disable notifications. Be sure that you are only deleting the ones you want. Alternatively simply transition them all to closed with a comment that says “opps...”

Check first you have Delete permission for the projects that have all those issues
