How to define the comment field as required in workflow transition?

How can I set the comment field in Jira Cloud as required in workflow transition?

Hi @Patrick Roos 

In cloud, the 'Field required validator' is available in the workflows.

You can use that and make the comment mandatory.

you should use a third part app https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/292/jira-misc-workflow-extensions-jmwe?hosting=cloud&tab=overview that contains the validator "Field Required Validator" https://innovalog.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JMWEC/pages/1145634841/Field+Required+Validator

I didn't need a 3rd Party App for my requirement. I added a transition validator "Field required validator" in my workflow transition - but anyway thanks for your help!!
