I would like to have a combination of active sprint view and the backlog swimlanes.

For example. I have only 2 releases V1 and V2. and 3 status, todo , in progress and done.

My ideal view will be 3 swimlane,

  • V1 (10issues)
  • V2 (15 issues)
  • All (25 issues)

And within each swimlane, I can see the issues in different status, and can move tickets across the status easily.

I tried to configure the swimlane based on query, but cannot get the "all" versions, looks like the queries automatically excluded the issues included in the previous query.

Any idea? thanks.

Thank you Nic, but I do need to see the same ticket twice on the same board, one to see the status of the release and another to see the status of the whole project. Sometimes I just found it is easier for me to manage tickets... Thank you for letting me the expected behavior anyway, it saves my time to find a solution that do not exist :)

Yes, this is the correct behaviour - it does not make any sense to have an issue on a board twice, it's pointless noisy duplication.

Your "all" swimlane is showing you "all cards on the board that have not been grouped up with others".
