  • Hi There,

I wonder if someone can help me.
In Jira I would like to create a piechart, using numbers as values of my custom fields in issues.

Say fx. I have customers and I want to see the amount of money they spent on a chart. Value per customer.

Is there any way to do it with dashboard, or should I export all the detalis to csv Excel and create my visual report there?

    Thanks in advance!

Hello @Frank Leon ,

Welcome to the community.

The built in Pie Chart gadget for the Dashboard does not allow you to specify a field for which the values should be totaled. The pie wedges are based on counts of issues that match the Statistic Type you specify.

It doesn't appear that there is a built in gadget to sum up a custom numeric field. There is a change request for that, and a suggestion for finding third party apps that could be added to your Jira instance in this post:
