How to see the summed up value for a custom numeric field based on a specific Jira Ticket Status.

I have a Project running where we have added a custom numeric field and every story or every issue has different values.

I want to pull this data based on the following condition: If Jira Story Status = Validated -> Sum up the customer numeric field and show the same on the Dashboard which I have created ( I need help with what gadget can I use for this and how do we sum up the field based on the Status )

Hi Shivany,

I understand that you are wanting to be able to use custom field of type number and then sum those values in a dashboard gadget from a JQL selected set of issues.  This is not something that Jira Cloud can do out of the box today.  But we are tracking this feature request over in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-38111

While there does not appear to be a way to manage this with Jira alone, I did come across a few different possible solutions in our Marketplace site that appear to offer this ability. Check out https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=gadget%20sum to see a list of these.  Perhaps one of these could provide the functionality you are looking for here.
