How to create a page field in jira

Hello anyone,

I have one requirement, there is one extra description field and whenever user want to fill that field, a long page should display in jira, so that user will fill that page with extra content and save it. But i didn't see any page opened custom field. Please assist how to fulfill this requirement.

Hi @Shanmukha Teja Badana ,

If you are Jira admin, then go to Admin settings --> Issues --> Custom field
Add new Text Field(Multi Line) field. Give name to the field. 

Once field is added, add them to required project issue type screens.

Yes, ofcourse we can add multi line and add the specific field at required places, but if we want some empty page to display and fill the content, then is there any alternative for this requirement?
