How to create a new project under business support?

All projects on the account are setup as business supported. However, it now only gives me the option to set them up as software support.

Can you share a screenshot? When you click on Create Project, you should see an option for Work Management on the left hand side.

Could you please confirm if by default it is allowing to you to jira software team managed or  both company and team managed software project?

Jira admins can create any kind of project using any template. By default, any user with access to the site can create a project using a team-managed template. This setting can be changed in Jira’s global permissions.

So incase you are not the jira admin by default you can create team managed projects.
