How to create a custom field group picker only by project roles

Hi All,

Please suggest me , how I can create a group picker custom field with the values is only the groups in project roles (restrict the other groups from group picker).

I've checked the Behaviours plugin but I'm not getting any idea as I'm new to JAVA Script. Please help.

Check for issue alternative assignee in market place.

Thanks for the information, but this one will only be applicable to assignee field I guess. My requirement is that custom group picker field with a specific filter to omit some groups from the custom field.
