How to create a burnup chart including the whole backlog?

The burnup chart is resctricted to sprint for now.

I would like to automate the creation of a burnup chart for the bakclog using JIRA.

I know it is possible using a CSV report of the tickets and including the data into a XLS report but it is not effective.

What are my options?

Burnup charts are for active work not backlog so I'm confused by your goal/request.

I want to follow the milestone of the ending of a backlog or part of a backlog.

 

The team I'm working with is currently developping a part of a product. I would like to steer the remains to be done.

I sort of get your goal but the Burnup is for active sprint analysis only. Not sure the best way to achieve your goal. Maybe using an Epic and leveraging Epic reports. Not sure.

I will investigate Epic as well as component or version to check what would best suits my needs.
