Hello,
We have about 14 spaces and each space has 2-5 boards. Now I need to create a board or whatever it is called to bring 5 of those boards in one place so during the stand-ups we don't have to switch between multiple boards. I have Jira/cloud/premium version. I have already tried creating a plan (from the left plan in Jira), but the board is very noisy. I also tried cross-team planning board but it seems that then we can't use different keys. Currently we have many projects and each project has its own key That means the new board I intend to setup should include all those 5 project keys. Hope this makes sense.
Hi @BM,
Are those team-managed or company-managed projects?
In a company managed-space (project), you can create a new board based on a filter. So first create and save a filter in Jira that returns the issues from all 5 projects. Then create a new board based on the existing filter. See https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board-based-on-filters/.
In team managed-spaces you cannot create custom boards. But, if you are open to use a plugin, our Great Gadgets app offers a Team Wallboard gadget that can display the issues from a board or filter/JQL in form of a board.
In your case, you'll need to configure the gadget with a filter/JQL that returns the issues from the 5 projects. The gadget will display the issues in 3 columns representing the status categories TO DO, IN PROGRESS and DONE.
You can use this gadget in your stand-up meetings. The colors can be customized. Find more details in this article: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/App-Central-articles/9-gadgets-for-a-powerful-Scrum-dashboard-in-Jira/ba-p/1683063

Hi @BM
Since you mentioned that Jira Plans felt too "noisy" for your needs, you might want to try Planyway for Jira.
It’s an app designed specifically to simplify resource planning and visualization. It works great for stand-ups because:

It is generally much cleaner and easier to set up for day-to-day operational stand-ups.

Hi, @BM
If I understand correctly, I’d suggest you create a filter using a JQL query like: project in (key1, key2, key3, key4, key5). And then make a board using your existing saved filter and configure columns to reduce noise.
Also, if you are curious to test your idea with AI, you can check out No-Code Apps Creator by my team. It is a Jira app that lets you build your own dashboards from a simple prompt.

Hello, Good day. You can explore dashboard. On dashboard you can add multiple gadgets using the same filter query used on the boards. Thanks
