There appears to be some extensions available in Visual Studio 2022 but they do not appear to actually function. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck on connecting their Jira instance to Visual Studio 2022 and how they did it?
Thank you!
can you send us a screenshot of the app from the marketplace?
Normally you will connect using an API token and an email account.
Unless the app asks for another method in the app documentation.
Regards
Aaron
That's what I was expecting but I'm not seeing anything added anywhere when installed. It says that there will be a Pending Changes tab, but it doesn't exist.

Hi!
I can't find it on my VSC version. Why do you need that particular app?

But here is the app. Also, it hasn't been updated for a year now.
Have you tested Jira and Bitbucket (Atlassian Labs)?
That's the official app from Atlassian.

Yeah, I did notice it had been a year since the last update. I was searching the extensions inside VS2022 (I don't use VS Code) and it did not find Jira and Bitbucket extension there. I'm just trying to find a way to connect VS2022 to Jira and the one that was most recommended was Jira Extension (VS 2022 Edition) ... even though it does not appear to work anymore.

I have connected GitHub to Jira and VS2022 now. I can't see Jira issues or anything like that in Visual Studio, but as far as I can tell there is not a currently available solution for the problem.
