How to configure Jira so that when bug is resolved it resolves it's sub-tasks automatically?

Aquarius

Hi guys,

When resolving a bug, having open sub-tasks I want that those are resolved with same resolution automatically as soon as bug is resolved.

Any way to do it in Jira?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Ruben.

You might want to check if your question is a duplicate of that one: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/53262/jira-transition-subtasks-as-workflow-postfunction-for-parent-issues Cheers Christian

As Christian said, you can write a post-function for this one. Try using the script runner plugin. Also, have a look at the Auto Close All Subtask post function implemented using the plugin -

Hope this helps!
