How to configure JIRA service desk to log into specific customer portal after customer logs out

We have a problem with JIRA Service Desk where by upon logging out of a customer portal the customer then attempts to log back in and is directed to the JIRA service desk help centre. 

Expected behaviour is for the customer to the redirected back into the same customer portal which they logged off from. 

How can we achieve this behaviour in JIRA Service Desk?

Did you try to add a link to the customer JSD on the log out screen?
