Hi @Srujan kumar,

I am Marlene from codefortynine.

If the workaround mentioned is too time consuming for you, another option would be to use our Jira app Deep Clone for Jira.

With our Jira cloud app you can clone Confluence links and other remote links.

  • Simply navigate to the issue you want to clone
  • Click on the three dots menu
  • Click Deep Clone

@Srujan kumar

What is the JWM?

You want to clone issue in JWM and them move to Jira?

@Srujan kumar ,

This is the known bug

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-42346

Follow the workaround it will fix the issue

Workaround

  1. On the issue you want to clone, add a link to a different JIRA issue (just don't use 'clones' or 'is cloned by' types)
  2. Now when you clone there is a checkbox to copy links. Check the box. The Confluence/external link will be copied along with the JIRA issue link.
  3. After cloning, remove the unwanted JIRA issue link.
