How to clone an existing user story

How do I clone an existing user story, or task and immediately be able to choose where I want to put the new copy (cloned) into?

Isn't this the same concept of copying and pasting? Source to target?

The cloning functionality within Jira seems to NOT let me choose where I want the new copy to go!!! Like an epic.

Why is that??????

Hey there! Not probably the answer you wanted but as far as I know there isn't a way to do this without an add-on. We specifically use Clone++.
