I would like to clone a task and have it clone all of the tasks that are linked to it as well, or have the ability to choose which linked tasks you want to also clone.

Ideally all of these new tasks would then link to the new main task.

Essentially we are wanting to set up "templates" where items that require the same list of work each time can just be cloned from a template of tasks.

@Myranda Byrne Welcome to the Community.

The clone function will clone the issue, sub-tasks, and links in cloud.  In server it will clone issues, sub-tasks, and links but it does not give you the option to not clone links like in cloud..   There are apps in the marketplace that provide additional functionality.  You might take a look at Deep Clone.

Which version are you in? You should be able to clone links. If your issue has linked issues, you can choose to clone links but not selectively though. When you clone an issue, you have the ability to choose to include sub-tasks, attachments, and links. Same for Cloud (clone an issue) - assuming you've got the proper permissions.

Hi! When I do clone links it doesn't clone the linked issues it just links those tasks to the new task.
