How to check plugin/add-on's usage in Jira Cloud

Hi Community,

We are trying to perform a cloud-to-cloud migration and are currently in the "assess" phase.

Does anybody know how to track where (in which projects) a plugin is being used in Jira Cloud? Most of the add-ons do not provide this functionality and to perform a migration we need to know where it is being used and document it.

We have already contacted the add-on's vendor but they don't have a way to check this or even have a preferred migration strategy.

Also, none of the methods mentioned here: Compare cloud-to-cloud migration methods for Jira | Atlassian Support does support the app's data migration. Still, we should be able to at least document these usages so as to figure out a way to migrate the data. Even if we have to create an automation script or consider the hardest way possible i.e. copy the data manually.

There is no way to say how an app is being used, they all do different things in different ways.  Your only method to establish usage is to ask your people how they are using it.
