The JIRA Gantt Structure appears to calculate "Work" and "Duration" both from the difference between the start and finish date. I want the work calculated via remaining estimate.
For instance, if my planned start is 3/1 and planned end is 3/28 (4 wk) and the task will take 2 wk, I still want the start and end date to indicate the full 4 weeks. However, I want the amount of work to complete to be 2 weeks. This will allow me to see that the assigned person will need to spend 50% of their time on this task.
I have tried messing around with the planned end date settings but everything I try still calculates the work based on the difference between planned start and planned end.
