On a scrum board in Jira cloud, I want to move issues up and down in the sprint backlog. For example, in the screenshot below, I want to move the second issue to the bottom of the list. Drag and drop doesn't seem to be supported. Older versions of Jira displayed up and down arrows at the far right side of the issue description but I can't find those either.
How do I reorder issues? Thanks.
Reorder issues in the product backlog, and the sprint backlog will show the new order.
Verified. Thanks for this answer.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
It looks like the sprint backlog doesn't support drag and drop to reorder issues (I am now a project admin and tried 3 different browsers). But the product backlog does support drag and drop, and issues in the sprint backlog are listed in the same order as the product backlog. It makes for a clumsy UX, but it's better than nothing.

It definitely does support it, that's pretty much what the backlog is for.

Try a different browser. Drag and drop works in my browser.
Javascript might be disabled, which causes this issue.

Good idea. If changing the filter query doesn't fix it, I'll try another browser. Thanks!

Drag and drop will work, as long as the board is configured with a filter that says "order by rank"

Ah, this might be the problem. The board's filter query includes "order by rank" but the query has the wrong project name. I'll talk to my admin. Thanks!
