How to change the Jira Cloud account (organization) logo

Hello!

We are using Jira Cloud.
In the Jira Cloud mobile app (see attached screenshot) there is a logo/icon displayed next to the account initials.

Could you please advise:
— how to change or replace this organization logo for our Jira Cloud account;
— is it possible to upload our own logo so that it appears in both the mobile app and the web version of Jira Cloud.

Hi @Natali and welcome to the community!

Yes, it is possible to add your own logo to Jira that is then shown on the left in the main top menu bar (it replaces the Jira logo there).

You can configure this as follows:

Change your logo

The logo appears in the top left corner of every Jira app page. The height of the logo image must be constrained to 30 pixels. We also recommend you use an image with a width of 57 pixels.

1. Select Settings (the cog in the top right), then System.

• Under User Interface, select Look and feel.

• In the Logo section, upload the image for the logo you want to use for your Jira site. You can also upload from a URL beginning with http:// or https://.

I also expected that this would affect the logo for this site in the mobile app, but it didn't.

It's possible that it takes a while for this to happen; but it's also possible that the mobile app isn't honoring this setting.

Feel free to try for yourself and observe if it works after all.

Thank you for sharing the comments in Jira. I was able to change the logo, and it worked for me. I did this about a month ago, but the logo did not change in the mobile app. Therefore, I am now looking for a way to do this in the mobile app.

Hi,

to be honest, I assume that this feature isn't implemented in the app. It looks to me like the app just randomly assigns a logo so that you can differentiate the sites in the app (along with their name/url).

To get a definite answer I would suggest to reach out to Atlassian via support ticket if you are on a paid plan.
