How to change the Date Started field on the Time Tracking modal?

How do I change the time format of the Date started field? Right now, it only shows timeslots for 9 AM - 6 PM and I want options for the full 24 hours. One of my developers likes to start working at 1 AM and there's no way for him to accurately track his work as our project is currently configured.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I apologize in advance if this is documented somewhere-- I couldn't find it.

Hello Thadd,

Actually, the time range that appears in the field when you move the mouse over it are only suggestions from the system and not hard-coded values of the field.

That being said, if you click on the field, type backspace and type the value you need (for example 2:00 am), it will accept with no problem.

Please, let me know if the developer is able to edit this field by typing the time.

Thanks for the answer!

Would it be a reasonable feature request to make the "suggestions" configurable.

I have found people (including me) tab out of the field after attempting to edit it, which results in it reverting back to the original value.  Then they open an issue with me stating that the drop down doesn't provide the times they need.
