How to change default board for a project

With the new(ish) default of showing an Agile board for a project, how do you tell it which board you want shown by default?  Some of our projects exist on many boards, and JIRA is picking one of the least useful of the boards (to the majority of my users).

Indeed this is a missing feature on the system that can be tracked at the feature report that Sarah suggested:
